West Coast Bound!!!
It's really happening.... John and I are moving to California!!!
I got an offical job offer this evening from Kashi, my #1 job choice and am taking on the position of CRM analyst with an AMAZING company! Just to recap: Kashi flew me out there last Friday for an interview that went really really well. The company is based in La Jolla, Ca and is full of fun, young, motivated, health concious people that are passionate about well.....whole grains, fiber, and protein! So it's out with the high frutcose corn syrup of Pepsi and in with whole grains of Kashi and we can't wait!!
My start date is February 15th, so there is LOTS to get done in a very short amount of time. But never fear, John has already mapquested the westbound journey, not to mention the next 6 months of activities and traveling! It's kind of like being at the top of a roller coaster....your excited but you know your stomach is about ready to drop so you're kind of scared, but mostly really excited.
More details to come soon, but we just wanted to share the exciting news with you all. Oh, and this is the offical invitation for everyone to come out and visit us in sunny warm southern california. Go San Diego!!!

The 2 Mile Area
Last weekend we went bouldering with our friends Corey and Ashley at Hanging Rock State Park. Great temps and lots of sunshine make for some killer climbing.
Happy New Years!!
So to start off the new year, we thought we should highlight our most recent adventure. We left Raleigh, NC on 12/29 and headed for Richmond, VA. We crashed with Karen's parents for the night and dropped Miles off before we hit the road, bound for Milford, CT. We hit horrendous traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike as well as on the George Washington Bridge going through NYC, so needless to say, we didn't make the kind of time we were hoping for.
We celebrated New Years at Kelly Kull's parents house in Milford. The whole reason for going to Connecticut was a "fairy reunion". The girls that spent a semester in Australia make it a point to get together at least once a year. So New Years was a blast at the Kull household. The champagne flowed like wine....wait a second. Anyways, after our visit to Connecticut, we hit the road for New York City!! We got to our hotel on 1/1/06 and stayed for two nights. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there, but we still had a blast. We walked through central park (before the rain started), road the subway everywhere, went shopping and of course we went to some killer restaurants.
Leaving NYC on 1/3, we hit the road again. This time with the Eastern Shore of Maryland as our destination. My parents and sister were there visitng my grandmother, uncle and cousins. It was good to see them all and I wish we could have stayed longer. On 1/4 we made the drive home, swinging through Richmond again to pick up Miles.
Lots of driving and lots of good times....sounds like a road trip to me!! Enjoy the pics.

El Primero
Well folks, it's high time we had a way to display our overwhelming mass of pictures, music, ideas and general thoughts on life. I wish I could take all the credit, but in reality Miles was the mastermind behind it all, thus the blog name. We hope you enjoy and feel free to comment and send us your blog sites.
